WHAT ARE YOU HUNGRY FOR?
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Matthew 5:6 (NIV)
In the natural realm, what do you do when you are hungry for something? Maybe you think of something to eat, but it doesn’t quite hit the spot because of certain factors. So you find something else that can make you satisfied temporarily. Spiritual hunger works the same way.
There are times when you may feel a restlessness or unsettledness in your life, but you can’t quite figure out what will satisfy it. You may try to fill that need with other things like food, addictive behaviors, entertainment and even people, but you always find out later that only God can fill that hunger. Today’s verse tells us that righteousness is what satisfies us. When you hunger and thirst for righteousness, which is God’s way of doing things, you will be spiritually satisfied.
Just like you have to stop what you are doing to take time to eat in the natural, you have to take time to “eat” or partake of the right things spiritually. We have to take time every day and devote it to the Lord in prayer, worship and studying His Word. We have to go the extra mile to stay in fellowship with other believers at church. And remember, when you seek God’s ways, you get God’s results of life, joy, peace and satisfaction in Him all the days of your life!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the promise to fill my hunger. I open my heart to You and ask that You draw me by Your Spirit. Teach me to walk in Your ways of righteousness that I may honor and serve You all the days of my life. I bless Your name today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

FOUNTAIN OF LIFE!
FOLLOW THE LEADER
God is with us; He is our leader. 2 Chronicles 13:12 (TLB)
Whoever leads you goes a long way to determine how far you can rise. Question is: Is God your leader? Do you allow Him to lead you in every area of life? Lots of time, people set out in a direction of life or make decisions and then “look around” to see where God is. They try to fit Him into their schedule, but really, He should be in charge of our schedules.
Others ask God to bless their decisions when, instead, we should follow His ways because His ways are already blessed! You see, the thing with allowing God to lead you is that He knows the end from the beginning. He is the “Alpha” and the “Omega” – the Author and finisher of our faith. With Him in control, you can securely look into the future with great expectation.
Today, instead of incorporating God into your day, ask Him to lead your day. Ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and mind and see if there are any areas you need to submit to Him. Remember, He is with you and He is for you. When we allow Him to order our steps, when we seek Him first and follow Him as our leader, then nothing can stand in our way! Go out in victory today knowing that God is ordering your steps.
Prayer
Father, I thank You for going with me and leading me into victory day by day. I choose to trust and rely on You, knowing that You have a good plan for me. I know that Your ways are higher, and so I submit myself to You in every area of my life. Thank You in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FOUNTAIN OF LIFE!
FRESH GRACE EVERY DAY
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:34
Most people are so worried about a lot of things: “I am concerned about the big business deal that I have to close tomorrow” or “I am worried about tomorrow’s job interview” or “My medical test results will be out tomorrow.” God does not want you to worry about tomorrow.
He wants you to know that He gives you all the help you need for today and when tomorrow comes, so will fresh help from Him. In the Old Testament, God gave the Israelites fresh manna from heaven every morning when they were on the desert. They did not have to worry about tomorrow because when tomorrow came, there was fresh manna again. He was their provision every day. God’s manna is the grace He gives you every day. If you are worried about a situation tomorrow, know that there will be sufficient grace for that situation when it comes.
God wants you to simply rest in His ability to heal, deliver, protect and provide for you every day. When you see a problem looming in your tomorrow, don’t be afraid or dismayed. Always look to the Lord and see His grace and salvation deliver you. Understand that God wants you to live a stress-free life, not one filled with worries about tomorrow’s problems. Your God is well able to see you through each day!
Confession
I refuse to live a stressful life; one that is filled with anxiety, despair and fear. My God is the all-sufficient One and He is well able to see me through each day. The troubles I see in tomorrow are just platforms to lift me into my prominence. I thank you Lord for Your daily provision!

RECEIVING THE OVERFLOW
...we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance. Psalm 66:12 (NIV)
Friend, no matter what your circumstances may look like today, God’s plan is to bring you through to a place of abundance. He wants you to have an abundance of peace, an abundance of joy, an abundance of resources. He wants you to overflow with His blessings so that you can be a blessing to the people around you.
One thing that you need to know is that if you want to live in the overflow of God’s blessings, you must have an attitude to receive the overflow. Remember, as a believer in Jesus, you are a child of the Most High God. That means royal blood is flowing through your veins. You were not created to be average or to live in mediocrity. You were not created to barely get by and drag through life. You have seeds of greatness on the inside. You are well able to do whatever God has called you to do!
Today, I encourage you to push your shoulders up, hold your head up high and start thinking like a victor. And when you are a victor, you know that any adversity in your life is not permanent, it’s only temporary. Have the attitude to receive the overflow of God’s abundance. Keep believing and keep expecting because it’s just a matter of time until He turns things around in your favor!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the Word. Today I open my mind and heart to You. I choose to believe that You have a good plan for me. By faith today, I receive the blessings You have for me so that I can be a blessing to others. May Your name be praised in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE GOD OF COMFORT
As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you... Isaiah 66:13 (NIV)
Oftentimes, when people face challenges, they seek comfort in things that are familiar. It may be work, an activity or a relationship; things that they believe can bring them the comfort they seek. But note that those things only bring temporary comfort. True comfort is found in a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
According to Webster’s dictionary, comfort means to give strength and hope; to ease grief or trouble. No matter what difficulty you may be facing today, God wants to bring you comfort. Like a mother cares for her child, He longs to give you strength, hope and confidence. Listen, Bible says that if even your earthly parents know how to give you the best, how much more you Heavenly Father; He knows the best, wants the best, prepares the best for you. Remember that there is no salvation in any other name except Jesus. “Salvation” also involves your comfort!
Today, make the decision to put God first in every area of your life. Let go of those things you know are holding you back. Let Him bring you comfort by allowing Him to be Lord over all the areas of your heart. As you surrender to His grace, you will be filled with His peace and joy. You’ll receive His comfort and be empowered to overcome in this life!
Prayer
Father in heaven, I come to You today and invite You to fill my whole being. Give me Your comfort and strength and empower me by Your Holy Spirit to live in the victory You have planned for me. May I find solace in knowing you all the days of my life in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FOUNTAIN OF LIFE!
EVERY CURSE IN YOUR LIFE IS DESTROYED
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”). Galatians 3:13
Many believers probably know that when Jesus died, our sins were forgiven because He shed His blood. Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins. But why did Jesus have to die on the cross, since the capital punishment of Israel during the time of Christ was stoning and not crucifixion?
Jesus hung and died on the cross because He knew the law says in Deuteronomy 21:23 that “he who is hanged is accursed of God.” He wanted to redeem us from every curse of the law, so He went to the cross, “…having become a curse for us.” Jesus took all our curses at the cross, so that we can take all His blessings! The moment you received Jesus, every curse in your life was destroyed. And the way you experience this is to simply believe and confess what Jesus has done for you. Say, “Because of Jesus, I am blessed.” The more you say it and believe it, the more you will experience it.
Today, if there is any area in your life in which you feel oppressed or suppressed, then confess that “Christ has redeemed me from this condition. I refuse it and reject it in Jesus’ name because I am redeemed from every curse!” Believe in your confession and don’t stop confessing until you see it!
Confession
I confess today that every curse that was over my life is broken in Jesus’ name. I am declared free and who the Son sets free is free indeed. The past cannot control me again because I have been bought by the precious blood of Jesus. I am living the overcoming life in Jesus’ name.
