FOUNTAIN OF LIFE TODAY!

FRESH GRACE EVERY DAY
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:34

Most people are so worried about a lot of things. They are concerned about the big business deal that they have to close by tomorrow or worried about crucial job interview they have the next week or the medical test results will be out in few days. But beloved, God does not want you to worry about tomorrow.

This is what God does: He gives you all the help you need for today and when tomorrow comes, so will fresh help come from Him. In the Old Testament, God gave the Israelites fresh manna from heaven every morning when they were on the desert. They did not have to worry about tomorrow because when tomorrow came, there was fresh manna. He was their provision every day. God’s manna represents the grace He gives to you every day. If you are worried about a situation tomorrow, know that there will be sufficient grace for that situation when it comes.

God wants you to simply rest in His ability to heal, deliver, protect and provide for you every day. When you see a problem looming in your tomorrow, don’t be afraid or dismayed. Always look to the Lord and see His grace and salvation to deliver. Understand that God wants you to live a stress-free life, not one filled with worries about tomorrow’s problems. Your God is well able to see you through each day!

Confession
I refuse to live a stressful life; one that is filled with anxiety, despair and fear. My God is the all-sufficient One and He is well able to see me through each day. The troubles I see in tomorrow are just platforms to lift me into my prominence. I receive my daily supply of grace right now!

FOUNTAIN OF LIFE TODAY!

THE GOD OF COMFORT
As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you... Isaiah 66:13 (NIV)

Oftentimes, when people face challenges, they seek comfort in things that are familiar. It may be work, an addiction or a relationship; things that they believe can bring them the comfort they seek. But note that those things may only bring temporal comfort. True comfort is found in a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Webster’s dictionary defines comfort as giving strength and hope; to ease grief or trouble. No matter what difficulty you may be facing today, God wants to bring you comfort. Like a mother cares for her child, He longs to give you strength, hope and confidence. Bible says that if even your earthly parents know how to give you the best, how much more you Heavenly Father? He knows the best, wants the best and prepares the best for you. Remember that there is no salvation in any other name except Jesus. And the salvation package also involves your comfort!

Today, make the decision to put God first in every decision you make. Let go of those things you know are holding you back. Let Him bring you comfort by allowing Him to be Lord over all the areas of your heart. As you surrender to His grace, you will be filled with His peace and joy. You’ll receive His comfort and be empowered to overcome in this life!

Prayer
Father in heaven, I come to You today and invite You to fill my whole being. Give me Your comfort and strength and empower me by Your Holy Spirit to live in the victory You have planned for me. May I find solace in knowing You all the days of my life in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

LOOK BEYOND
...Lift up now your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward. Genesis 13:14 (AMP)

Your perception will always determine your reception! In other words, what you allow to take a hold of your mind will determine what you can receive from God. God has a place of victory in store for you today! His plan is to enlarge you on every side so much that you can also become a blessing to others, but you need to be able to look beyond first.

You may be facing challenges. You may look around you and see only impossible circumstances. In the natural, it may look like things won’t ever change. But God is telling you to quit looking at your circumstances and look up to Him! Lift up your eyes of faith and look beyond where you are because there is victory as far as the eye can see! Remember that those things you are facing today are only temporary, but God Almighty is eternal. He is the God who spoke the world into existence and He is the God who set the stars in space.

He is more powerful than every obstacle, bigger than any setback and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above and beyond what you could ever imagine. Today, look beyond your circumstances and set your focus on what His Word says. Lift up your eyes and look unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith!

Prayer
Father, today I lift up my eyes of faith towards You. Thank You for surrounding me with Your goodness and mercy. Thank You for believing in me and preparing a good future for me. Fill my heart with Your peace and confidence as I continue to trust You daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

FOUNTAIN OF LIFE TODAY!

Forgiveness Is For Your Own Sake
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:14–15 (NIV)

In life, everyone has his or her own share of unfair things happening to them; someone accuses you falsely or steps on your feet or hustles you in an uncomfortable manner. There is always a choice to make. You can choose to hold on to the hurt, become bitter and angry, and let it poison your future; or, you can choose to let it go and trust in God.

Considering how badly you have been hurt, you may be thinking you will not be able to forgive. Yes, I might not know how much abuse you endured while growing up or how your spouse has caused you a lot of pain or how your best friend has betrayed you or how difficult it is to let go of that pain. But I want you to realize that you don’t forgive for their sake; you forgive for your own sake. When you forgive, you are taking away their power to hurt you again. But if you hold on to the offense and stay angry, you are only poisoning your own life and disconnecting yourself from God.

Forgiveness is like a door on your heart. If you shut the door and refuse to forgive, then God cannot come in to forgive you. But when you open the door and allow forgiveness to flow from you, then His forgiveness can also flow into you. Choose to forgive and open the door to receive God’s life, peace and healing today.

Prayer
Father God, I thank You for the gift of forgiveness that sets me free. Lord, help me to truly understand what it means to forgive so I can receive Your forgiveness. Search my heart and try my thoughts and lead me in the way everlasting. Thank You in Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
