FOUNTAIN OF LIFE!

Walk In Love
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18

All throughout scriptures, God commands us to love. The Bible says love is the greatest thing. 1 Corinthians 13:13 says, “And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” Love is all that matters on this earth and it is the only thing that will last in eternity. And we are protected when we walk in love!

When we become selfish or self-seeking, the door to our hearts becomes opened to confusion and every evil work. But when we walk in love, when we choose to put others first, when we choose to be patient and kind and when we choose to walk in unity, we are protected by love. We automatically close the door to the plans of the enemy in our lives. This is why 2 Timothy 1:7 says “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Today, consider your love walk. Read 1 Corinthians 13 and consciously emulate the characteristics of love. Remember, love is not a feeling; it is a choice. When you choose love, it is like you are covered by a force field of protection that cannot be penetrated. Bible says that God is love and His banner over us is love. Today, cast out any iota of fear and begin to walk in love!

Prayer
Father God, I humbly come before You today asking that You search my heart. Lord, please remove any selfishness in me and help me to always walk in love. I thank You for protecting me through the promises I receive in walking in love. I praise You today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

FOUNTAIN OF LIFE FOR TODAY!

Strengthened Inner Man
That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man. Ephesians 3:16

What do we imply when we talk about the inner being? Many people mistakenly think it is the soul, reasoning, emotion and will. But 2 Corinthians 4:16 gives us a clue; “Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.” Clearly the inner man is not the soul, but the human spirit.

The inner man is the place where God begins His recovery work in us. The state of being really discouraged, brokenhearted and almost at the point of giving up is often described as dispirited because it is your spirit that is dissatisfied. But as Christians, Bible says that even when our outer body gets old and deteriorating our inner man gets more vital and becomes richer and stronger. The Holy Spirit infuses fresh strength into our spirit (which is the inner being). 1 Corinthians 12:13 says, “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body…and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.”

When our human spirits receive inspiration from the Holy Spirit we become refreshed and revitalized, the same way water refreshes our bodies and the inner man becomes strengthened. When we allow the Holy Spirit to consume and overshadow our human spirit, our faith in God and His promises soar to the level where whatsoever we ask of God, we receive.

Prayer
I thank you, Father, that You have given Your Spirit to strengthen me in the inner man and to cause my faith in You to soar. I pray that as my spirit becomes energized, I will begin to see You more real and walk in step with You. May Your name be praised in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Jesus is Our Peace
For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation…Ephesians 2:14

If you can understand today’s memory verse, you will be able to resolve any conflict with anybody. “For he (Jesus) himself is our peace, who has made the two one.” True peace is not just agreeing not to fight or argue again; it means being one. True peace is oneness. Anything else is superficial, temporary and highly unsatisfactory.

Understand that if you merely agree not to fight, it is not peace. Often, a new outbreak follows and all the previous pain resurfaces once again. This is why the peace promised by nations never lasts. Because often, people only get tired with fighting and agree to stop for a moment only to recuperate and rearm. Then war breaks out all over again, because in reality nothing was really settled. Today, understand that the secret to peace is in oneness which is found in Jesus Christ – the Prince of Peace. The peace He gives us is satisfying, permanent and genuine.

Hence, the only way you can live at peace with someone else is by being at peace with the Person of Christ. Jesus is our peace! And once our attitude changes, once our heart is settled, once we put the matter into the hands of the Lord and we see that He has the solution, then our own heart becomes peaceful. This state empowers us to resolve any conflict with others through the strength of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer
Father, I thank you for the access I have to boldly approach your throne of grace so I can find help in times of need. Help me to believe the message of peace and to enter into the joy and peace of life with you. I thank you for the peace I have in my heart in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Lift Songs Of Praise To The Lord
Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:17

God wants us to walk in wisdom. And He shows us how. Today’s verse tells us to “…understand what the will of the Lord is.” So what is the will of God? The next two verses tell us how to identify it: “…be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.”

As you are filled with the Spirit to lift songs of praise to the Lord – singing, speaking or making melody in your heart – God promises to unveil to you His will for your situation. You will then have the wisdom to decide wisely what to do next. In life, whenever you are faced with a difficult situation, the more you think about it or try to come up with a smart solution, the further the answer gets from you. But as soon as you lift up praise to God, you get a clearer perspective of the situation.

So beloved, learn to lift up songs of praise to the Lord, whether times are good or bad. For when you fill your mouth with praises to God, He will lead you and guide you in all the affairs of your life. Even if you are stuck with a problem, He will show you the way to go or make a way out for you!

Prayer
I praise You Father, my Lord and King. I make a choice to always fill my mouth and heart with songs of praise unto You for I know that therein lies my victory. Thank You for Your presence which is always with me to lead me through every situation. Thank You in Jesus’ name. Amen.

FOUNTAIN OF LIFE FOR TODAY!!!

God Wants You Well And Joyful
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2

Beloved, God wants you well and joyful at all times. Sadly, Satan deceives many Christians to believe that God doesn’t want them to be happy. He tells them that God gives people sicknesses, accidents and death to teach them lessons. But today Jesus says, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” Thus, Jesus is the nature of God in action.

Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus going about healing the sick, raising the dead and giving hope to the hopeless. Bible says Jesus “went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil.” That is the heart of God. Even earthly parents want to see their sick child getting well. How much more our heavenly Father? Bible says that His desire is for you to “prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers.” The Father loves you so much to want the best for you; He is wise enough to know the best for you and He is strong enough to get the best for you.

Beloved, let this truth sink into your heart. Refuse to let the devil deceive you today. Today, hear God speaking this to your heart: “I am with you through it all – the fire, the rain, the flood and the dryness. My heart always wants you well and joyful all the days of your life. I am coming through for you today!”

Prayer
Father, today I thank You for these prophetic words of assurance. I thank You for coming through for me today. I pray that my heart will stay on Your Words and my faith in You will be strengthened. May my life become a testimony of Your unfailing love in Jesus’ name. Amen.

FOUNTAIN OF LIFE FOR TODAY

HE IS GOD
I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him. Ecclesiastes 3:14

God takes delight in your enjoyment. But beloved, understand that all enjoyment must be discovered by realizing that God is in charge of life and that He will not bend His perfect plan. God has sovereignly, independently, set up the plan of life in a way with which we cannot interfere. He has done so in order that people would revere Him.

All through the Bible we read that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Until a person recognizes and trusts the superior wisdom of God, he or she has not begun to fear God. This fear is not abject terror of God; it is respect and honor for Him. If you attempt to live your life without the recognition of God, ultimately you will find yourself empty, dissatisfied and restless, feeling that life is miserable and meaningless. The secret of life’s enjoyment is found the presence of God Himself.

Most of the struggle of life comes from us trying to be God, wanting to be in charge of what happens to us. Often when God’s plan does not go with our expectation, we get angry with Him and throw away our faith. Remember, God will not surrender to your plans because He knows what is best for you. Always let God be God in your life and you will find life very satisfying!

Prayer
Dear Lord, I thank you for the gift of life today. I pray that you will forgive me for thinking I know what is best for me and for others. Please teach me to trust in your work, because I know that nothing can be added to it. I revere you as my Lord and King in Jesus’ name. Amen.
