FOUNTAIN OF LIFE FOR TODAY

A NEW WAY OF THINKING
And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins. Mark 2:22 (NKJV)

Are you ready for increase in the next half of the year? Starting from next month, are you ready to go to the next level spiritually, physically and emotionally? In today's memory verse, Jesus is basically saying that you can't go to a new level with an old way of thinking. In other words, a new level demands a new way of thinking!

Many people hear the truth that God has more in store for them and immediately something resonates on the inside. Their spirit comes into agreement with God. But often, their natural minds begin to try to talk them out it. You hear your mind repeatedly telling you that “It is not going to happen for you” or “you are not going to have a great year” or “you are never going to get well” or “you are never going to get married” and other negative thoughts like that.

Those are the old wineskins you have to get rid of. This is a new season. What happened in the past is over and done. You had some disappointments, you tried and failed or things may not have gone according to plan, but we serve a God of restoration. It is time to get a new vision for your life and to open yourself to a new way of thinking so that you can move forward and receive all the blessings God has preordained for you!

Confession
Yes, I tried and failed and things may not have gone according to plan, but I refuse to accept that it is over. Today, I see accomplishments and great success. I scale over the intimidations from my past and over every obstacle. I enter boldly into the new month in victory and in joy!

The days in which we live are evil and the devil is seriously at work...Why? Because the kingdom of God is at hand and Jesus is coming soon. RETRAIN YOUR MIND

Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind... Romans 12:2 (AMP) Many people today don’t realize that the reason they are not happy, the reason they are not enjoying life is simply because they have tuned their minds towards the wrong direction. They have trained their minds to worry, to complain or to see only the negative side of life. A mind that is not renewed will always attract the negative, rather than the positive side of life. But just as you can form these negative mindsets, you can retrain your mind according to the Word of God and form godly mindsets. Looking through life, I have come to believe that one of the main ways to retrain your mind and develop a positive attitude is by learning to stay grateful. When you are grateful, you focus on what is right rather than what is wrong. The seed of the Word takes root in the good ground of your heart. This doesn’t happen automatically, you have to discipline yourself. You have to make a conscious effort every single day until a good mindset is formed. Remember, when you live with an attitude of praise and thanksgiving, you are shielding yourself from the attacks of the enemy. The seeds of discouragement cannot take root in a grateful heart. Neither can bitterness, envy or strife. Today, retrain your mind and be empowered with His strength to overcome in every area of your life! Prayer Father in heaven, today I surrender my thoughts and mind to You. Help me retrain my thoughts so that they fall in line with Your Word. I choose to have an attitude of faith and expectancy. FOUNTAIN OF LIFE!

NOTHING CAN HOLD YOU DOWN
The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree... Psalm 92:12 (NKJV)

Have you ever seen a palm tree in the midst of a great storm? Unlike all other trees, the palm tree may be bent so far over that it is almost touching the ground, but when the wind finally stops, that palm tree bounces right back up. What is interesting is that while that palm tree is hunched over under the pressure of the storm, it is actually growing stronger!

The reason why God said you would flourish like a palm tree is because He knew there would be difficult times. He knew that things would come against you to try to steal your joy and victory. And God says that you are going to be like a palm tree because when the storms of life blow, you are going to come right back up stronger than before. Nothing can hold you down! No weapon formed against you will prosper. In another way, Psalm 34:19 says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.”

As you reflect on all the circumstances of your life today, remember, the storms you have encountered have only made you stronger. You are wiser, you are more alive and you are headed for victory. Your brightest days are right out in front of you! Always remember that with God on your side, nothing can hold you down!

Prayer
Father in heaven, I thank You for making me strong in You today. I trust that You are working in my life, even in the midst of the storms. I know You will bring me out stronger, wiser and better off than ever before. I will trust You all the way through. Thank You in Jesus’ name. Amen.

FOUNTAIN OF LIFE!

GIVE GOD'S WORD PRIORITY AND SEE GOOD SUCCESS
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8

In life, there is good success and bad success. Bad success is the kind that robs you of time with your family, friends and church, and destroys your health and relationships. With good success, you see prosperity in every area of your life. Beloved, God wants you to enjoy good success and the key to this lies in what God told Joshua in the memory verse.

Spending time in God’s Word daily will give you godly wisdom, which will make your way prosperous and give you good success. Look at how Joshua’s life turned out in the end. When Joshua died, “they buried him within the border of his inheritance at Timnath Serah, which is in the mountains of Ephraim…” Can you imagine? Joshua was so successful that he had a whole mountain for his inheritance! Also in Joshua’s time, the Israelites were impacted for God’s glory because they served God.

And at the end of his life, a fulfilled Joshua had this to say, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Having your family loving God and serving Him with you is the most important success and greatest prosperity that you can ever have. Beloved, when God’s Word takes priority in your daily life, not only will your finances be blessed, your ministry and family life will also be blessed!

Prayer
Father, I bless You for the life I have today. I acknowledge the efficacy of Your Word and I pray that every spoken Word concerning my life will accomplish its purpose. I pray that Your Word will become a priority in my life and will never depart from my heart in Jesus’ name. Amen.

FOUNTAIN OF LIFE!

JOY IN HIS PRESENCE
You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 16:11 (NIV)

Happiness is as a result of events happening around you, but joy springs from your inner man – your spirit. Nehemiah 8:10 says that the joy of the Lord is your strength. The devil knows this and so he will always try to prevent you from being joyful. He will remind you of the things that make you anxious, worried and downhearted. But learn to rejoice in the Lord always!

God promises that joy is found in His presence. If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then His presence lives inside of you! Joy will manifest when you focus your mind and heart on the Father and begin to praise Him for what He has done in your life. Bible says that He inhabits the praises of His people. When you praise and thank Him, you are in His presence where there is fullness of joy! It doesn’t matter where you are or what is going on around you, you can access the joy inside of you anytime, day or night.

God wants you to experience His supernatural joy and peace at all times. That is why He chose to live inside of you and give you an endless supply. Don’t waste another minute feeling overburdened and discouraged. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength and move forward into perpetual victory!

Prayer
Father in heaven, I thank You for an endless supply of joy. Today I choose to cast my cares on You and give You the praise, glory and honor You deserve. Lord, please let joy flow through me today so that I can be a witness of Your goodness to those around me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
