Ask, Believe and
Receive
Beloved, if our
heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we
ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things
that are pleasing in his sight. 1 John 3:21-22
Don’t ever forget
this this truth: God always answers prayers! You may not feel it or see it
happening, but He does answer them. Whichever way your answer from God comes –
whether you receive a yes, no or wait – you must understand that God still
remains the Praying-answering Father. The Bible says that to everyone that ask,
he shall receive.
The opening verse
says whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him. Whatsoever means whatsoever! In
another way, there is absolutely no prayer that we make to God that we do not
receive an answer. But the Bible says that if your heart condemns you and your
confidence is not towards God, you cannot receive from God. Beloved, doubt or
disbelief is the number one thing that prevents most people from receiving
answers to their prayers.
The moment you
overcome the huddle of doubt and demonstrate faith in God, you are just a step
away from receiving answers to your prayers. What is it that you seek for in
prayer? All you need to do is to ask for it, believe you have and receive it by
faith. Matthew 7:7 says that “ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and
ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Today, have faith
in God that when you ask and you believe, you shall receive the desires of your
heart.
Prayer
I bless Your name
dear Lord for giving me this marvelous opportunity to ask and receive whatsoever
that I desire. I trust in Your Word and I chose to live in this understanding
that I will always receive an answer when I pray in the wonderful name of Jesus.
Be praised, amen.
