GOD LAUGHS IN THE HEAVEN
He who sits in the heavens laughs... Psalm 2:4 (AMP)
Imagined God laughing in the heavens? Think about it for a moment. Right now, God is on the throne. He is not mad. He is not worried about the economy. He is not upset with you and me. God is full of joy and laughing on the throne. Psalm 37:13 tells us that God laughs because ‘He can see the destruction of the enemy coming.’
In other words, God laughs because He knows the end of your story. He knows the final outcome. The good news is that you win. He looks at the enemy sweating it all out and it makes Him laugh! Imagine watching football match when you already know scores. You already know which team is going to win. No matter the number of missed chances, no matter how bad the team appears, you wouldn’t get upset or worried. Why? You’ve got inside information. You know the final outcome.
That is what God is saying to you today. When it gets tough and things don’t look like they are going to work out, you should know that with God you’re on the winning team! Today, you can laugh too because God has favor, strength and victory in store for you!
Confession
I laugh with the Lord because no matter how much the devil sweats it out, I know victory belongs to me. I will experience uncommon triumphing today because God has gone ahead of me. The north, south, east and west winds will favor me today!
Prayer
Father in heaven, I thank you for today. I make a choice to rest and trust in you, knowing that I am on the winning side. I thank you for bringing victory in every area of my life. I receive opportunities to share in your joy and love with the people around me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
